In 2003 graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Faculty of Linguistics, MA in Philology, English and French languages. In 2009 she successfully defended her PhD thesis and now she takes the position of Associate Professor at the department.
Oksana Semyda currently works at the Faculty of Linguistics, National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky (Department of English for Engineering №1).
She teaches the following disciplines: EAP, ESP (English for engineers), and General English.
She is a member of the editorial board of an international peer-reviewed journal Advanced Education (WoS).
Oksana is involved in the organization of Students’ Olympiads and conferences and gives reviews on scientific papers and methodological works done at the Faculty.
The teacher is constantly improving her professional skills by participating in different international conferences and attending professional training, seminars and webinars. She is a member of the professional organisation TESOL.
She is an author of about 30 scientific works and 4 study books for technical students.
