The Faculty of Linguistics at National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” has won a competition for partnerships between Ukrainian higher education institutions and the US Embassy as part of the ‘US Department of State Virtual English Language Educator Program’.
As part of the program, the faculty will collaborate with a highly qualified American specialist in English language teaching and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
The program will run from 28 September to 19 December 2026.
Participation in the Virtual English Language Educator Program opens up new opportunities for the Faculty of Linguistics to develop international cooperation, engage in professional exchange of experience, and introduce modern international approaches and practices in English language teaching.
For the faculty’s lecturers, this is an opportunity to engage in international professional collaboration and exchange experiences with an expert from the United States of America. For students, participation in the program will be a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge, international educational experience, improve their professional communication skills in English, and take a direct part in an international educational project.
Winning this competition is an important step in the development of the Faculty of Linguistics’ international activities and helps to strengthen the international presence of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
