Viktoriia Chmel graduated from Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages with a degree in “Foreign Languages” (two languages), got the qualification of a teacher of English and French.
Since 2006, Viktoriia Chmel has been working at the Faculty of Linguistics (Department of English for Engineering #1). She is responsible for substituting classes, international activities of the department, translates diploma supplements of the European standard at the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automatics, is a member of the commission for certification of foreign language proficiency at B2 level.
Viktoriia Chmel delivers the courses of EFL and ESP to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Being a member of TESOL-Ukraine, Viktoriia Chmel regularly attends professional trainings, webinars, and also develops teaching materials for the students of technical departments, e.g. the study and practice book “English for Electrical Engineers Part II”.
