In 1990, Raisa Kuzmenko graduated from the Faculty of English at the Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages and qualified as a teacher of English and French. She worked at the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University in the positions of teacher, senior teacher and associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages.
In 2020, Raisa Kuzmenko successfully defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the National Pedagogical Drahomanov University. She works at the English language department of the technical direction No. 1 of the Faculty of Linguistics, teaches “Practical course of a foreign language” and “Practical course of a foreign language for scientific communication” in the Educational and Scientific Institute of Atomic and Thermal Energy of NTUU “KPI”. The teacher prepares students for writing scientific articles on the specialty in English, speaking at conferences and participating in English language competitions. The teacher is a member of the scientific advisory committee of the Research Journal of Education, Psychology and Social Sciences, Romania.
The lecturer is a full member of the public organization ‘TESOL-Ukraine,’ an international affiliate of TESOL Inc., as well as a member of AEDE (Association Européenne des Enseignants), the public organization ‘European Education and Science in Ukraine.
Raisa Kuzmenko constantly attends professional trainings, seminars, advanced training courses, takes an active part in scientific and methodical, all-Ukrainian and international conferences.
