Dear women!
We congratulate you on the International Day of Struggle for Women’s Rights and International Peace. On this day in 1857, female factory and business workers in New York stood up for their rights for the first time. They defended for the right to vote, against difficult working conditions and the use of the labour of their minor children.
These women paved the way for better self-respect at all levels in most countries of the world. Thanks to them, modern women can live a full life and fully reveal their talent.
International Women’s Day is a call for gender equality in the world free from prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination.
This is the world to which we all aspire today and which we are reclaiming with the blood of our best warriors from the barbarians who are trying to destroy human freedom, equality and democracy.
Today’s Ukrainian women face a difficult challenge — protecting their country, their children, their families, and achieving peace. And they still have other problems: the gender pay gap, the unequal distribution of housework and child care, sexism and gender bias.
Great respect to our women who, despite these manifestations of injustice and trials of war, are changing their country and the world for the better. Ukrainian women defend the Motherland with weapons in their hands, acquire knowledge and scientific degrees, represent our country on the world scientific arena, invent, create, achieve, volunteer and donate. They are building a new world.
We respect your work, your aspiration to make the world peaceful, kind and just. We wish you health, happiness and an effort to lead a dignified human life on this difficult path! Good luck to you, dear women!
