I STAGE OF THE ALL-UKRAINIAN STUDENT OLYMPIAD IN ENGLISH AND COMPUTER SCIENCE

INFORMATIONAL MESSAGE:

We invite first, second, and third-year students to participate in the first stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in English and Computer Science, taking place on the specified dates.

  • April 24, 2025 (for first-year students)
  • April 25, 2025 (for second and third-year students) 

Purpose of the Olympiad:
The Olympiad aims to provide computer science students with the opportunity to showcase their knowledge in both humanitarian and exact sciences.

Objectives:

  • To create an interactive educational environment using information technologies.
  • To assess students’ competence in computer science.
  • To enhance competitive and educational experiences in English and computer science.
  • To evaluate foreign language skills and abilities.
  • To identify capable participants with a high level of preparation and intuition.
  • To deepen interdisciplinary connections and integrate students’ knowledge.
  • To increase motivation and interest in learning.
  • To activate students’ cognitive engagement.
  • To organize independent student work.
  • To promote the development of creative abilities.

Olympiad Tasks:
Tasks will include test questions in English and computer science, developed on the Moodle platform.

Eligibility:
Students from any specialty interested in English and computer science are encouraged to participate.

Language:
Tasks will be presented in English.

Selection of Winners:
Winners will be determined based on the points accrued from the Olympiad tasks. The jury will make the final decision if necessary.

Participation Requirements:

  • The use of additional informational sources, both electronic and printed, is prohibited.
  • Plagiarism is strictly forbidden.
  • The use of generative artificial intelligence capabilities is not allowed.
  • Adherence to academic integrity is required.
