In 1984 graduated from the Uzhhorod State University with a degree in English language and literature, qualified as a philologist, teacher and translator.
He worked at Uzhgorod State University as a teacher, associate professor of the Department of English Philology, as well as the head of the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation.
He worked at the National Aviation University as the head of the Department of English Philology and Translation, director of the Institute for the Humanities, and vice-rector for academic work.
He is a member of the specialized academic council Д 35.051.15 of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.
Member of the Expert Council on Philological Sciences and Social Communications of MONU; expert of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education.
He supervised 13 candidates of philology.
He’s got 190 scientific, educational and methodical works.
