In 1995, she graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Drahomanova, received the specialty of teaching English language and literature.
Inna Akhma has been working at the Faculty of Linguistics since 1996. She is a member of the Faculty’s Academic Board.
In 2019, she successfully defended a thesis for the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences (comparable to PhD).
Inna Akhmad works at the Department of ESP#1 of the Faculty of Linguistics, “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute teaches disciplines English as a Foreign Language, English for Specific Purposes to the students doing for their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree as well as to the postgraduates. She teaches students to write research papers on their specialism in English, to deliver speeches at international conferences and participate in competitions.
Inna Akhmad is a full member of the international associations of English language teachers, such as IATEFL-Ukraine, TESOL-Ukraine, UALTA, and Ukrainian Educational Research Association (UERA). She frequently attends training sessions and seminars, webinars, professional development courses.
She is a member of the editorial boards of the professional journal: “Advanced Linguistics” (category B) and is part of the department’s groups: expertise, review of textbook manuscripts, electronic teacher rating, student conferences and olympiads.
Author and co-author of about 100 scientific, educational and methodological works on the methodology of teaching English and philology in higher education.
