In 2020 she graduated from National Technical University of Ukraine ‘Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute’ and obtained the qualification of translator and teacher of English and German languages.
Since September, 2021 she’s been working at the Department of English for Engineering 1 of the Faculty of Linguistics at Igor Sikorsky KPI. She delivers the discipline ‘Practical Course of Foreign Language’. Also she works as a translator at International Projects Office of International Collaboration Department at Igor Sikorsky KPI.
The teacher is actively engaged in preparing students for writing research articles in English, presenting research results at international conferences and participating in international Olympiads.
Liudmyla Vlasiuk is a member of the working groups of the Department of English for Engineering 1: ‘Multimedia teaching aids and library of electronic resources’, ‘Cooperation with international educational and cultural centers (British Council, America House)’ and ‘Continuous Professional Development (CPD)’. She is also responsible for department’s international activity.
The teacher is a valid member of the international organizations of English language teachers TESOL Ukraine and IATEFL Ukraine and Ukrainian Association of Cognitive Linguistics and Poetics.
Liudmyla Vlasiuk constantly attends professional trainings, training courses and seminars. In addition, she actively participates in both scientific and methodical, and scientific and practical All-Ukrainian and international conferences. Lecturer also coordinates the activities of student club ‘English Language in Teaching and Learning’.
