In 2002 graduated from Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after V. Vynnychenko, Faculty of Foreign Languages, specialty “Pedagogy and methods of secondary education. Language and literature (English, German)”, and got the qualification of a teacher of English, German and foreign literature.
Olena Moskalenko is a professor of the Department of English for Engineering 1, at the Faculty of Linguistics. She teaches courses “Foreign language for scientific communication” (Part 1. / Part 2), “English for Science” for Master’s Degree and PhD students.
Olena Moskalenko has an international certificate in the English language CAE (Cambridge Advanced English), level C1; international certificate of examiner / rater of ICAO in Aviation English.
She is a member of the editorial boards of specialized journals: “Scientific Bulletin of the Institute of Vocational and Technical Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Professional pedagogy” (category “B”); “Bulletin of the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine (electronic edition)” (category “B”); Scientific works of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. Series: Philology”.
Member of the Specialized Academic Council for Defense of PhD Thesis K23.144.02 of the Flight Academy of NAU for the defense of theses in the specialty 13.00.04 – theory and methods of professional education (deputy chairman, 2018–2021).
Author and co-author of about 120 scientific, educational and methodological works on the methodology of teaching English.
Prof. Olena Moskalenko is a scientific supervisor of PhD students (1 Doctor of Sciences and 6 PhD theses were defended under her supervision).
Expert of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (NAQA) in specialty 035 Philology. Member of expert council (international expert) in the field of study 01 Education / Pedagogy (NAQA).
