Professional activity

In 1995 Olena Volkova graduated with honours from Kyiv State Linguistic University and gained a teaching qualification in English and German.

She has held the position of English Language Senior Teacher at the department of ESP №1, the faculty of linguistics since 2003. She teaches courses on English as a Foreign Language, English for Specific and Academic Purposes to undergraduates and masters of the Faculty of Chemical Technology.

Olena Volkova is the member of the department groups “International relations, student on-line conferences, and English language competitions”, “Testing and assessment”.  The work in the groups involves preparation, organization and holding of student conferences and language competitions, development of tests for objective assessment of students’ knowledge.

Olena Volkova regularly attends professional conferences, trainings, seminars, webinars, and refresher courses.
