In 2008 graduated with honours from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, Faculty of Linguistics and got a qualification in English and French translation and interpretation, and language teaching.
Olha Pavlenko is a vice-dean at the Faculty of Linguistics. She is a member of the Faculty’s Academic Board. She oversees academic studies and is responsible for coordinating foreign language studies at the Faculty of Electronics.
Olha Pavlenko teaches General English course, English for Professional Purposes, English for Business Communication, and English for Scientists.
In 2015, she received CELTA qualification, which is recognised in most countries of the world. Within the project of the British Council in Ukraine “English for Universities”, since 2017 she has been a certified expert trainer in professional development (Professional Teaching Award in Teacher Development) and has later been awarded the Delta (M2) qualification. Olha delivers professional development training for teachers in Ukraine and abroad. Since 2019, she has been the president of the Ukrainian branch of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL Ukraine) and is a member of the Ministry of Education and Science working group on defining the conceptual framework of the state policy on the English language in higher education.
