In 1986 she graduated from Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, Faculty of English language and got the qualification of English and French language teacher.
Larysa Lomakina works at the Faculty of Linguistics, at the Department of English language for Specific Purposes №1. She is a scientific secretary of the department.
Larysa Lomakina has been working as an English language teacher at the Faculty of Electronics since 1996. She delivers courses of English as a foreign Language, English for Specific Purposes to undergraduates and masters. Teacher prepares students for writing scientific papers in English and helps them to make presentations at international conferences.

Lomakina Larysa takes an active part in scientific Ukrainian and International conferences and seminars; the last is the International Theoretical and Practical Conference “Modern Approaches and Innovations in Teaching Foreign Languages”.
