In 2012, she graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” majoring in “Translation” and qualified as a translator.
At the department, she is responsible for the “Association of Young Teachers” group. She is also the leader of the student circle of the scientific direction “Foreign Language in Education and Teaching”, in which students of FL teach a foreign language to students of technical specialties.
Working as an English teacher at the Heat and Power Engineering department of NTUU “KPI”, Kateryna Riabova teaches the subjects “Practical course of foreign language I; Practical foreign language course for professional communication I; Foreign language for professionally oriented communication. Practical course of foreign language business communication”. The teacher prepares students for writing scientific articles in the specialty in English, speeches at international conferences, and participation in international Olympiads.
Kateryna Riabova constantly attends professional trainings, seminars and improves her qualifications, and is also a member of the Public Organization “Ukrainian Branch of the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language”, IATEFL Ukraine.
